About this project
The identity for the International Festival of Arts & Ideas came together effortlessly. The groundwork was already done and clearly presented in their mission: to present “Arts” (music, dance and theater programs by renowned international stars and newly-discovered artists) and “Ideas” (a mix of serious and whimsical topics, all designed to inspire new ways of thinking). The festival aspires to engage a broad and diverse audience, building community and advancing economic development. This cross-over dialogue between artist, thinker and audience member drove Flyleaf Creative's solution for the logo design—and even extended into the color and typographic palettes used for branding all festival materials.
